🚒 HELP KEEP OUR FIREFIGHTERS FUELED!🚒

With the heat and long hours our firefighters are putting in, we’d love to put together some grab-and-go snack bags for our crews (we put a lot together, thank you!). We’re asking for donations of

🧊 a couple of ice chest
🧦 Long socks
❄️cold towels
💵Monetary donations to help repair apparatus

I put the snacks together into individual bags and placed several in each apparatus so our firefighters can grab one whenever they’re hungry or need a quick snack while out running calls.

Some of our firefighters got home around 6 this morning and a few are still out there. They will likely be heading back out or switching out with another crew. They are putting in some long hours right now, and we’d love to make sure they have something easy to grab while they’re working in this heat. ❤️‍🔥🚒

🎓🚒 CONGRATULATIONS, STATION 14! 🚒🎓

Today, we celebrate four of our Station 14 members who successfully graduated from the TCFP Fire Academy after completing an incredible 22 week academy. 👏🏼🔥
This accomplishment represents countless hours of training, studying, hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. During those 22 weeks, they gave up valuable time with their families, missed important moments, and made countless sacrifices—all to become better firefighters and better prepared to serve our community.
We are incredibly proud of each of you and thankful for the commitment you have made to Station 14 and to the people you serve. Your dedication does not go unnoticed!
A special Thank you to Palo Pinto County ESD1 for giving our firefighters this opportunity and for dedicating the resources necessary to make this academy possible. Your support helps our department continue to grow, train, and provide the best service we can to our community. 🙏🏼

Today, the first-ever class of the Palo Pinto County ESD No. 1 Texas Commission on Fire Protection Fire Academy will graduate nine firefighters!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone and the future of fire protection in Palo Pinto County.

Please join us Saturday, Aug. 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palo Pinto Volunteer Fire Department for a community fundraiser benefiting First Responder Herstle Renfroe.

Herstle has spent years serving others — including eight years with Sacred Cross EMS and a combined decade of volunteer fire service in Palo Pinto County. Now, following the unimaginable loss of his wife, Alexis, and two children, Alekzander and Cody, our community has an opportunity to show up for him.
