The cause of this morning’s power outage was determined to be a small animal gnawing through a power cable. The situation has been mitigated and the power has been restored.

Siren Testing Notice- Today, around 5pm, the City will be testing the emergency siren battery backup system. The siren may sound for up to two or three minutes. Again, this is only a test.

Clayton County is testing every emergency siren in the county today, starting at 9:30. We do not know exactly what time the sirens will sound. When they do sound, it may last up to two minutes. This is only a test; there is no emergency.
