In an effort to help prioritize future park additions and improvement projects, the Strawberry Point P&R Board would like to get feedback on what improvements or additions our community would like to see. The following has already been suggested by residents and board members with no particular priority in mind:
1. Pool slide
2. Pool shade structure
3. New tables for shelter
4. New cement under shelters
5. New shelter near civic center / basketball court
6. Veterans’ memorial
7. Pickleball court
8. Trash bins
9. Safety surfacing (mulch, chips, rubber) under playground equipment
10. Mulch around trees
11. Trash bins
12. Campground

This is not an all inclusive list. Please review the list and let us know what you feel is most important to you or if you have any additional suggestions for us to take into consideration. The Board will take all information received and use it to assist us with prioritization of prjects and allocating funds where best suited.

For those who may have been planning to attend the Healthiest State Walk tonight, we regret to inform that we will not be able to host it this year. However, we do encourage you to get out, enjoy the nice weather, and walk for 30 minutes. We apologize for the late notice and change in plans.

Join us on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 5:30pm @ Campbell Park in Strawberry Point for the annual Healthiest State Walk. We will have some healthy snacks and a guest speaker to present some healthy living tips prior to walking the loop for at least 30 minutes. Hope to see you there!
