Stratham Fire Department

Stratham Fire Department Stratham Fire/Rescue/EMS Page is our way of communicating important information, tips, and news. Thank you for your continued support!

The Stratham Fire Dept was founded in 1951 to fill the need for an organized town agency to provide fire protection and life safety services utilizing local volunteers to provide the manpower. The Department operates two Fire Engines, a 3000 gallon Fire Tanker, one Forestry truck, and two ambulances out of our state of the art fire station on Winnicutt road in Stratham. We are supported by the Str

atham Volunteer Fire Dept Association and the Stratham Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary. Together we support the community with Fire and EMS services, education and community outreach. Our current active responder membership is approximately 35-40 members who are fully trained and certified by the State of NH. The department membership devotes their time to support our operations, training and administration 24/7. In addition, we employ two paid part time members who man the station and cover calls during normal business hours M-F 7am-5pm, and on call after hours. The Department raises funds to augment the department's equipment and training needs by running the annual Stratham Fair with the Stratham Fire Dept Association. We hope you enjoy the information and news on our page and hope that you will come back and visit us often. Follow our twitter page for Duty Crew postings as well!

SVFDA President Dan Crow ( right) and SVFDA Vice President John Cushing ( left) presented Chief Jeff Denton a donation for $5000 to complete the required funding to train our Paramedics to be able to perform the Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) procedure, further enhancing our critical lifesaving capabilities. The Stratham Volunteer Fire Department Association has long been a keystone in supporting the operations side of our department and today is no exception. The Association holds our annual First Responder Golf Classic at the Golf Club of New England ( on Oct 5th this year) which helps support critical training and equipment needs for the department without impact to the taxpayer.
The Association’s fundraising efforts and outstanding support enables our operational department to continue to provide the best training and equipment to our members which enhances our ability to provide the best quality Fire and EMS services to our citizens. We would like to thank the members of the SVFDA for their generous and continued support of our mission and members.
