Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality in America.

We believe that decent, affordable housing helps create opportunities for families to thrive. As we honor Juneteenth, we reflect on the importance of expanding access, fostering inclusion, and ensuring that every person has the opportunity to build a brighter future.

We encourage everyone to take time today to learn, reflect, and honor the significance of this day—and take part in local Juneteenth celebrations and activities this weekend.

The Habitat CFC administrative office is closed today, 6/19, and will reopen on Monday.
The Stratford ReStore will remain open for business.

A big thank you to the students from Blind Brook High School for spending the day in Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County’s panel shop. Their bright smiles and enthusiasm really lit up the whole space!

The group rolled up their sleeves to paint siding and build bookcases that will one day grace the homes of future Habitat homeowners. These special bookcases are filled with books and given to families as part of Habitat CFC's home dedication ceremonies.

We are grateful for the students' hard work and commitment to supporting our mission and making a difference for local families.
