Our Story
The CARES Food Bank of Strasburg, an outreach ministry of the Strasburg Community Church, is a partner agency to the Food Bank of the Rockies, assisting families in need. We proudly serve the I-70 corridor and beyond and are open for distribution on Friday afternoons. We offer both TEFAP (food provided by the USDA) as well as food donated by our local community and the Grocery Rescue Program. We are the only food bank along the I-70 Corridor that offers you a shopping style experience - you pick out what you need versus simply picking up a pre-packed box. We offer canned and non-perishable food, meat, produce, bread and sometimes dairy goods. Visit the “About Section” for times and location.
