'Twas the evening after our Life on the Homestead event, when all through the homestead, everyone went home after a wunnderful day of fellowship and song.

The tables were cleared and the lights softly glowed, while hearts full of gratitude overflowed.

The laughter still lingered, the memories stayed, of friendships renewed and connections well made.

With thankful reflections and joy in each heart, we cherish the moments that made us a part.

To all who attended, who helped, and shared, your kindness and efforts showed just how much you cared.

From planning to cleanup, from music to cheer, you helped make this gathering the highlight of our year.

So as we look back on this beautiful day, we offer our thanks in this simple way:
May the blessings of friendship and fellowship remain, until we're together to celebrate again.

With sincere gratitude, thank you all for making this event such a special and memorable occasion for all!

We have you covered!

We will have several carts ready to take you to the festivities.

‘Twas the night before our big event, and all through the homestead, not a creature was stirring, except maybe a mouse.

The lawn was all set up for vendors galore. With treasures and trinkets and so much more.

The homestead stood ready for demonstrators to show, things you never knew you needed to know.

The risers were raised for the singers to sing, and hopefully hit every note they bring.

The games were laid out for the children at play, to burn off enough energy for at least part of the day.

The signs were all posted, the pathways swept clean, the best looking homestead you've ever seen.

But of all the things we've prepared with delight, there's one thing still missing to make it just right:

The art form is called PYSANKY. Pysanky means "to write" and that is part of the process: I write on the egg to create the design.
