It’s Reliable Public Power Week! This is a week dedicated to acknowledging the public power utilities who provide their communities with the highest degree of reliable and safe electric service. The Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) program is a national designation given by the American Public Power Association to public power utilities that exhibit operational excellence and demonstrate leading practices in reliability, safety, workforce development, and system improvement.

Stowe Electric Department is a 2026 RP3 Designation recipient - through the RP3 Program, we have the chance to learn, grow, and improve, while serving as an example for others striving for excellence. We do more than just keep the lights on!
