Though this campaign didn’t end the way we hoped, I walk away with gratitude and pride. For six years, I’ve had the privilege of standing in the arena, serving the people of Stow, working to make our community stronger, and doing my best to meet every challenge head-on.

As Roosevelt reminded us, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood…” I’ve felt that dust, that sweat, and that responsibility. And I would do it all again for this city I care so deeply about.

Thank you to the voters, my family, friends, and neighbors for your trust and support. It’s been an honor to represent you, and no matter what comes next, my heart remains with Stow.

Tomorrow is Election Day.

As I look back on the past six years, I’m filled with gratitude, for my wife, whose love and support have carried me through every late meeting and long campaign days; for my children, who have grown up learning what it means to serve your community; for my family, friends, and neighbors who have stood beside me, encouraged me, and believed in the work we’ve done together for Stow.

Serving on City Council has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we’ve made real progress, from improving transparency, investing in our neighborhoods, strengthening our parks and infrastructure, and keeping Stow a community we’re proud to call home.

Now, I’m humbly asking for your vote one last time to finish what we started. Tomorrow’s election isn’t just about continuing a job; it’s about completing the work we began together and ensuring that Stow’s future remains bright for the next generation.

🚨 Traffic Advisory 🚨

UPDATE - State Route 91, Darrow Road Reconstruction Project:
Beginning Mon., November 3, 2025, Karvo Construction will pave the intermediate asphalt course from Ritchie Road to Norton Road. From Tuesday through Friday, crews will pave the final surface course from the Post Office to Norton Road.

Please be aware that access to driveways and intersections may be temporarily delayed while the new pavement is rolled and compacted. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to complete this important roadway improvement.

UPDATE

State Route 91, Darrow Road Reconstruction Project:
Karvo Construction has shifted operations to Segment 2, from Ritchie Road to Norton Road, on the west side of SR 91. Concrete curbs have been replaced, and asphalt milling is complete. Slot paving is scheduled for Wed., October 29. Asphalt repairs will follow on Friday, with the intermediate course planned for placement during the first week of November. Upcoming work includes replacing concrete drive approaches, installing new sidewalks, constructing retaining walls, and completing improvements along the west side of the corridor.

State Route 59, Kent Road Signal Project:
Perram Electric has completed all scheduled work for the season. Remaining signal pole installations are anticipated for late winter or early spring, once materials arrive. Enbridge will begin gas line work from Fishcreek Road to the Stow-Kent Shopping area in early November.

The City of Stow is pleased to announce a swearing-in ceremony for the City’s new Police Chief, Heather Prusha, on Fri., November 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The ceremony will take place in Stow City Council Chambers, located inside Stow City Hall.

The public is invited to attend as the City formally welcomes Chief Heather Prusha to her new role leading the Stow Police Department. A brief program and oath of office will be followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to meet Chief Prusha and members of the department.

All you have to decide is what to do with the time that’s given to you. You don’t get to choose how long you’re here. You don’t know how many sunrises you have left. You can’t rewind, pause, or skip the hard chapters. All you get is now.

As a combat veteran, I’ve learned that time is precious — and purpose matters. Service taught me that leadership isn’t about titles; it’s about showing up when it counts and doing what’s right, even when it’s hard.

That’s why I’ve dedicated my time to serving Stow — working to make our city stronger, safer, and ready for the future. We only get so much time to make a difference. I’m committed to using mine to finish what we started together.

❤️ Family. Service. Community. ❤️

As I ask for your support in my reelection to Stow City Council, I can’t help but look back on how much my family has grown during this journey. From our first campaign to today, Sadie, Maximus, and Lorelai have gone from kids holding yard signs to young people who understand what service, hard work, and community truly mean.

None of this would be possible without my amazing wife — the heart of our family and the quiet strength behind everything I do. Her support, patience, and belief in me have carried us through long nights, tough decisions, and countless community events.

Every time I cast a vote, attend a meeting, or help move a project forward, I’m reminded that it’s not just about policy — it’s about people. It’s about building a community where families like mine, and yours, can thrive.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting our family, and helping us continue the work of making Stow stronger together.

🚨 Construction Update 🚨

UPDATE

State Route 91, Darrow Road Reconstruction Project:
Work on Segment 2 – East Side (Ritchie to Norton) is nearly complete, with only guardrail installation and landscaping remaining. Landscaping crews are currently finishing and fertilizing Segments 1 and 2.
On the West Side of Segment 2 (Ritchie to Hibbard), the contractor has begun removing curb and gutter, replacing storm sewers, and installing underdrains. Karvo Construction plans to work on Sat., October 11. Once bridge work is finished, traffic will shift to the east side of SR 91 to allow work to continue.

State Route 59, Kent Road Signal Project:
A crew will return on Mon., October 13 to complete final cleanup, temporary seeding, and mulching. Perram Construction is not scheduled to return until late winter or early spring, once the signal poles are delivered.
Please note: Enbridge Gas will begin gas line replacement work in October; this work is not part of the SR 59 Signal Project.
