Today, we pause and remember where we were, what we saw, and the people and stories we will never forget.

Twenty-five years later, the memories of that day remain with us. But so does the reminder of what happened afterward: neighbors helping neighbors, strangers standing together, communities coming together, and a nation united.

May we continue to remember those we lost, honor those who served and sacrificed, and never forget the strength that comes when we stand together as a community.

Harvest season is here! As farm equipment moves onto our roads, remember to SLOW DOWN, STAY ALERT, and SHARE THE ROAD.

If you see the orange SMV emblem, be prepared to stop and give farm equipment plenty of space.

From your local first responders: A few extra seconds of patience can help prevent a serious crash. Let’s make sure everyone makes it home safely this harvest season.
