Our Dual Language students spent a beautiful morning together at Bowline on the Hudson! ☀️🌊

The experience brought to life the three pillars of our Dual Language Program: Language Skills, Academic Achievement, and Social Connection. Students had opportunities to communicate in both languages, connect their learning to the world around them, and build friendships across classrooms and cultures.

We are so proud of the way our students learn, grow, and celebrate one another while becoming bilingual, biliterate, and globally-minded citizens.

A big THANK YOU to Healthy Smiles for visiting Stony Point Elementary School! 🦷✨
Our students had a wonderful experience learning about dental health and receiving cleanings in a fun, friendly, and comfortable environment. Healthy Smiles helped make taking care of our teeth feel exciting instead of scary, and we are so grateful for their kindness and care.

🐋🦋 SPES 3rd Grade had an unforgettable adventure at the Museum of Natural History in NYC! Our students spent the day exploring fascinating exhibits, discovering giant dinosaur fossils, standing in awe beneath the giant whale, learning about animals from around the world, and experiencing the wonders of science and history firsthand. 🏛️✨

From towering dinosaurs to the amazing giant whale overhead, it was a day full of learning, curiosity, and fun with friends. Thank you to our teachers and chaperones for helping make this trip such a memorable experience for our 3rd graders! 💙🚌

For the past few months, second graders in Ms. Leibel, Ms. Pimentel, Ms. Conklin, and Mr. Santana's classes have been busy researching different countries.. Today, families were invited to attend a very special “Around the World with Second Grade” event where students proudly presented their research projects.

Guests received passports and traveled from country to country, collecting stamps along the way while learning from our amazing student presenters. The event concluded with all of the second grade classes coming together on stage to perform their original song, “One World, One Family.” 🌎❤️

We are so proud of our students for their hard work, creativity, and confidence as they celebrated cultures from around the globe!
