We need your help! Our friends at Shoreline Indivisible need help writing 2,000 postcards to voters in Montana, and we have just one week to get them done.

Postcards and stamps are ready for pickup at The Ditty Bag Market and Cafe, open every day from 9 AM to 4 PM. Please stop in, pick up a stack, and help us reach 2,000 voters!

Joe de la Cruz spent 38 years in the sheet metal trade. Today is the holiday that exists for people like him.

SMART Local 40 since 1997. A certified welder who worked on Electric Boat projects. Four decades of getting up early and coming home tired.

Labor Day is not really about the long weekend. It exists because people who worked with their hands organized and asked for something better, and kept asking until it was written down. The eight hour day, the weekend, the idea that a job should not cost you your health.

Joe is running for State Senate in the 18th, and what he wants is not complicated. Raise the minimum wage. Protect paid family leave. Bring down what it costs to live here.

He has spent his whole working life on the other side of that conversation. He knows what the answer sounds like when it comes from someone who has never done the work.

Happy Labor Day from the Plainfield Democratic Town Committee.

Congratulations Aundré!

Proud to earn the endorsement of the CT Working Families Party!🌹

This November, I’ll appear on both the Democratic and WFP ballot lines.

Working people should be able to afford to live, raise a family, and build a future in the communities they call home. That’s why I fight to lower costs, strengthen our public schools, create good union jobs, protect our environment, and cut your electric bill.

I’m grateful to have CT Working Families by my side as we keep delivering for Groton, Mystic, and Stonington.

You don't have to go far in the 43rd District to see how important farming still is to our communities.

Across North Stonington, Stonington, and Ledyard, local farms are part of the landscape and part of our local economy. The same is true of the fishermen, shellfish growers, and other local food producers who make their living here.

These are often small businesses and family operations, and the decisions made in Hartford can have very real consequences for them. I believe the people doing this work should have a voice when those decisions are being made.

I’ll support our local farmers, fishermen, and food producers and make sure Hartford listens to the people who know this work firsthand.
