Tunes is back!!

🎶 Tunes By the Tracks – Spring 2026 | Lineup Reveal

Exciting news - the spring “Tunes” lineup is here, and we’re ready to bring the music back to the heart of Stone Mountain Village.

Starting Friday, May 8, we roll eight straight Fridays at 2nd & East Mountain. This season is made possible by Main Street Stone Mountain, the Stone Mountain DDA, the crew at Outrun Brewing, and an incredible group of civic and individual sponsors who continue to show up - opening hearts, time, and resources to keep the fire burning.

🎶 2026 Spring Lineup:

* May 8 — Stello & the Supes
* May 15 — Electromatics
* May 22 — Larry Griffith
* May 29 — Diane Durrett & Soul Suga’
* June 5 — Blues Cartel
* June 12 — Natti Love Joys
* June 19 — Albert White
* June 26 — Trina Meade & Co.

Tunes 2026 remains tap side - an intentional, connected , and welcoming setup right in the Village flow.

If you joined us for fall 2025, you know the vibe: neighbors, friends, musicians, and visitors coming together for something simple and real. We’re building on that and keeping it grounded, welcoming, and centered on live music and community.

Event Details:

* Fridays | 7:00–9:00 PM
* Come rain or shine (weather safety permitting)
* Bring a chair, your dancing shoes, and your people

Outrun Brewing will be in full swing, with village restaurants - and some shops - open late. Grab a beverage, bring your crew, enjoy local favorites, and settle into the Village vibe. It all adds up to a great SMV night.

Bottom line:

Real music. Real people. Right off Main Street.

Bring your peeps. See you there!

Great news! Stone a mountain will have a fitness court again. The city has also committed to checking for any unhealthy trees that are at risk of falling at McCurdy and they finished that parks drainage project too!

I’m proud to have the privilege of working with such a great police chief. Chief Westerfield has set a strong example for how police should commit and invest in the communities they service. He leads with compassion and a community forward mentality. I learned last night he was even married in the city! He truly loves City of Stone Mountain - Government and its residents. If you see him around town, please thank him for his 20 years of service.

Thanks for everything you do Chief!

Very excited for our future. Congratulations CM Dimov!

Very excited for our future. Congratulations CM Dimov!

The City of Stone Mountain is proud to officially announce the appointment of Miglena “Maggie” Dimov as our new City Manager.

Ms. Dimov was formally appointed during the February 17, 2026 City Council Meeting following thoughtful consideration and the Council’s commitment to strong, stable leadership for our organization and community. Having served in a leadership capacity within the City, she brings strategic vision and a dedication to operational excellence that will continue to move Stone Mountain forward.

We look forward to this new chapter under City Manager Dimov’s leadership and are confident in her ability to guide our team, strengthen municipal services, and serve the residents and businesses of Stone Mountain with professionalism and integrity.

Faith in Blue is coming soon on October, 11th from 9am - 2pm at VFW park. I am very proud how the leadership in our police prioritize and encourage our officers to invest in the community beyond what is required by their job. In my opinion it is a big part of why we are a safe city with officers who practice ethical and compassionate policing.

This event is a great time to get to know our police officers and join them in investing in our community by helping maintain our community garden.

“Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” will also be participating with our police to raise awareness about violence against women.

It is a family friendly event. Come out with me to support these initiatives, meet new neighbors, and grow the Stone Mountain community.

Tell a friend to tell a friend.

See you there.
