STOKESDALE TOWN PARK UPDATE

SDJ Land Management, Inc. will be performing vegetation and cleanup work at Stokesdale Town Park at Martin’s Meadow on June 25–26, 2026 (8:00 AM–5:00 PM each day).

Playground and picnic shelters will be CLOSED during work hours for safety.

Orange cones/barrels will mark work areas.

The park will remain open, but please use extreme caution and avoid all marked zones.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) ISSUED

The Town of Stokesdale has issued RFQ-2026-01 seeking qualified firms to provide Professional Maintenance and Asset Management Services for the Town’s 300,000-Gallon Elevated Water Storage Tank.

The Town is seeking experienced firms that can assist with the ongoing maintenance, inspection, asset management, and long-term stewardship of this important component of Stokesdale’s municipal water system.

Interested firms are encouraged to review the RFQ and submit qualifications in accordance with the requirements and deadlines outlined in the solicitation document.

Notice of Public Hearing

In accordance with North Carolina General Statute 159-12, notice is hereby given that the Proposed Operating Budget for the 2026–2027 Fiscal Year for the Town of Stokesdale has been submitted to the Stokesdale Town Council.

The Proposed Operating Budget is now available for public inspection at the Stokesdale Town Hall between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Please note that Stokesdale Town Hall is closed to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Additionally, a digital copy of the Proposed Operating Budget may be accessed at any time on the Town of Stokesdale’s official website at www.stokesdale.org.

A Public Hearing on the Proposed Operating Budget will be held during the next regular meeting of the Stokesdale Town Council. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM inside the Stokesdale Town Hall Council Chambers, located at 8325 Angel-Pardue Road, Stokesdale, North Carolina 27357.
