Big things are happening in Stockton! We as a company are happy to announce that we are looking to construct a new addition to our station in the near future! While details are limited and the process has just begun, we are looking forward to sharing our progress as we advance toward our goal.

Fire Chief Tim Jerschied states, “Due to our recent purchases of Brush 2 and Marine 2, we have been at a tactical disadvantage within our station. Adding more apparatus and not expanding our station since 2015, over 10 years ago, has really made it clear that we have outgrown our current station.”

President Brock Payne states, “This has long been discussed as a need for our company, and we are excited to finally have this project start. We hope to build a very practical addition that will last our company for years to come.”

Stay tuned for updates!

Memorial Day is not an “extended weekend” or just another holiday, it’s a day set aside to remember those we have lost in the battle for a greater nation. All of those who have served deserve recognition and we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice specifically once a year. This day and every day we thank you!

Your Stockton Volunteers had a busy Tuesday this week! Starting off with a call for service at 1806 hours, we were dispatched to the 2100 block of Fleming Road in Greenbackville for a motor vehicle accident. Rescue Engine 2 made a response and assisted with scene management and traffic control. Shortly after around 1900 hours, we conducted our monthly drill on pump operations and dry hydrants. Overall a great night!

Several members of Stockton Volunteer Fire Company were out at the NFFF Memorial Ceremony for 2026, where Fire Chief Neil Allen Payne was inducted into the memorial. It was a somber day, commemorating not only Chief Payne but, the other 203 additional inductees with their loved ones present. We were honored to be part of this ceremony and will continue to carry on the memory of Neil through the good works that we do each day.
