Kids in Tune with Melissa Fritz provides opportunities for young students to learn music through group activities and musical instruments including shakers and plastic drums. Lincoln's young learners love their sessions with Melissa, and we thank her for encouraging creativity and community at our campuses.

Lincoln Unified’s Young Adult Transition Program (YATP) welcomes students who have recently completed high school with an IEP and are preparing to increase their life skills while working in our community. Last week, current and future YATP students and their families visited the Porter Way campus to see what our classes have been working on so far this semester. Students were proud to showcase the work room, art room, kitchen and laundry area, along with the garden. Visitors of all ages also enjoyed spending time with Tucker, a licensed therapy dog who is always happy to lend emotional support for our program.

We look forward to seeing this year's YATP students share memorable experiences as they practice valuable life skills and build lifelong connections!
