Thank you to our community for your patience during the temporary closure while the Henry County Water Authority completed upgraded sewer infrastructure.

As you get back out to enjoy the trail, please help us keep Reeves Creek Trail clean, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone. 🐾 If you’re bringing your four-legged friends along, remember to clean up after your pets.

*OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE CITY OF STOCKBRIDGE

The City of Stockbridge confirms that the City Council has taken formal action concerning the Office of Mayor following proceedings conducted pursuant to applicable City processes. As a result of that action, the Mayor has been removed from office.

The City will continue to conduct municipal business and provide services to residents, businesses, and the community without interruption. The City Manager, department leadership, and City employees will continue performing their respective duties in accordance with applicable law and City policies.

The City will follow the applicable provisions of the City Charter, City ordinances, and Georgia law concerning the performance of the duties of the Office of Mayor and any transition resulting from the Council’s action.

The City recognizes that additional legal or procedural matters may arise. Accordingly, the City will not comment on potential, pending, or anticipated legal proceedings beyond information contained in the public record or otherwise appropriate for release.

This statement is intended solely to provide information regarding the City Council’s action and the continuity of City operations. It should not be construed as a characterization of any party’s legal position, rights, claims, or defenses.

Additional official information will be provided by the City as appropriate.

Today, the City of Stockbridge joins communities across our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the courageous first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who demonstrated extraordinary bravery and selflessness. We also remember the strength, compassion, and unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.

May we continue to honor their memory through service, kindness, and unity.

Stockbridge City residents can access FREE concert tickets early on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 5 PM–8 PM at the Stockbridge Box Office (4650 North Henry Blvd., Stockbridge, GA).

⚠️ Supplies are limited. City residents must show a government-issued ID, and ALL ticket holders must be present to receive tickets on September 21, 2026. 1 ticket per person.🎟️

BridgeFest festivities begin at 3 PM, gates open at 6 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM! Come enjoy face painting, vendors, food trucks, music, and family fun! 🎉
