***UPDATE: VALLEY ROAD IS NOW OPEN***

Valley Road between Mountain Ave and Morristown Road is closed for emergency road work. A brief detour of Mountain Avenue to Morristown Road and vice versa will be implemented until approximately 3am on 8/21/26. Local traffic can access their residences from Mountain Avenue side of the closure.

***UPDATE: VALLEY ROAD IS NOW OPEN***

Valley Road is closed for a motor vehicle accident into a pole with wires down near the intersection of Passaic Avenue. Road is closed between Northfield and Main Ave. Detour running Northfield Rd to Long Hill Rd to Main Avenue.

⚠️ Traffic Advisory Notice ⚠️

8/13 and 8/14. Long Hill Rd will be closed between Central Ave and Mountain Ave. 7a-330p for continued sewer line construction. Officers will be on scene to assist. Please follow posted detour:

Eastbound Long Hill Rd from Central Ave: Central Ave-Main Ave, Valley Rd, Morristown Rd, Mountain Ave. Westbound Long Hill Rd from Mountain Ave: Mountain Ave, Morristown Rd, Valley Rd, Main Ave-Central Ave.

8/12 & 8/13. Valley Rd eastbound will be closed at the intersection of Mountain Avenue from approximately 6:00PM to 2:00AM for utility work.

A detour will be in place beginning at the intersection of Valley Rd and Mountain Ave, motorists should follow posted detour:

Mountain Ave-Hillcrest Rd, Park Ave, Plainfield Rd, Springfield Ave.
