Today, we are excited to celebrate Lene Ortego, our Assistant Director of Foster Care, on 5 wonderful years with Lions Meadows of Hope!

Lene, your love and dedication to serving children and families does not go unnoticed. Over the past five years, you have poured so much of your heart into supporting our foster families, advocating for children, and being there for your team.

We are incredibly grateful for the compassion, commitment, and kindness you bring to LMOH every day. The work we do is not always easy, but having people like you who truly care about our mission makes such a difference.

Thank you for everything you have given to our children, families, staff, and agency over the last five years. We are so lucky to have you as part of the Lions Meadows of Hope family!

Wayne has a heart for serving children, especially those who need someone firmly in their corner. It’s a passion he has lived out for many years through his church and through his commitment to Lions Meadows of Hope. He believes deeply in the unique way LMOH serves children and families experiencing foster care and he has been an important part of making that work possible. Wayne’s years of dedication to children and families experiencing foster care have made a lasting impact on our mission and our community. Lions Meadows of Hope is one of five agencies statewide selected to participate in Oklahoma's new Kinship Navigation Program

We have some BIG NEWS to share!! 💙✨

We're excited to announce the launch of the Lions Meadows of Hope Kinship Navigation Program, beginning this August!

When children can't safely remain at home, the best place for them is often with family or someone they already know and love. Our new Kinship Navigation Program will support grandparents, relatives, and other kinship caregivers across eight north-central Oklahoma counties, helping children stay connected to family, school, and the communities they call home.

Because when families get the support they need, children stay close to home.

We're honored to be one of only five agencies in selected by Oklahoma Human Services to provide this important program.

Together, we're creating more pathways for children to remain safely with family and that's something worth celebrating.
