This meme absolutely nails it, and it is probably going to make some people mad because it hits way too close to home.
Disney does not deserve your money.
Not after years of pushing politics into family entertainment. Not after lecturing the very parents who built that company into an American institution.
Not after turning what used to be simple childhood magic into another battlefield in the culture war.
So here is a better idea.
Take your kids on an America tour instead.
Take them to Valley Forge and let them stand where Washington’s army froze, starved, and still refused to quit.
Take them to Independence Hall and let them see where brave men pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor so this nation could be born.
Take them to Plymouth and teach them what courage, faith, sacrifice, and survival actually look like.
Take them to Selma and show them that the American story includes struggle, pain, courage, and the long fight to live up to our founding promises.
Take them to a Civil War battlefield and let them understand what it cost to keep this country together.
That is the kind of trip that builds memory.
That is the kind of trip that builds gratitude.
That is the kind of trip that reminds children they were born into the freest, most prosperous, most remarkable nation in human history, and that none of it happened by accident.
Disney can sell you overpriced tickets, corporate slogans, and another plastic vacation designed to empty your wallet.
America can give your kids something better.
A sense of place.
A sense of history.
A sense of responsibility.
And maybe, just maybe, a little pride in the country so many people now seem determined to tear down.
