Stilesville Volunteer Fire Department We are a small rural volunteer fire department trying to make a positive impact on the community.

We respond in conjunction with Amo and Coatesville fire departments on fire and medical runs in Franklin Township and the towns of Stilesville, Amo, Coatesvi

The Stilesville VFD would like to thank everyone who came through on Saturday and purchased sliders! We sold around 1400 sliders!

🔥 Supporting Future First Responders! 🔥
Hendricks Power Operation Round Up donated $3,000 to the new Cascade Fire Cadet Program, a partnership between the Stilesville Volunteer Fire Department, Amo Fire Department, Coatesville Fire Department, and Liberty Township Volunteer Fire Department.
This program gives 7–12 grade students in the Mill Creek School area the opportunity to learn about firefighting and EMT services. The donation will help cover the cost of uniforms and gear. HPC hopes this will empower local teens to take the first step toward becoming the next generation of community heroes. Learn more about this program at Stilesville Volunteer Fire Department

A new tornado siren has been installed in town.
The siren that was there had become unreliable and also it was cost prohibitive to add it onto the county tornado siren system with the communications center.
The siren that is up now is a federal (brand) siren and is on the county wide system.
This siren is a bit higher up and has a further reach sound wise compared to the old siren.
The new siren was provided by hendricks county emergency management for free, a siren that had been purchased from a grant. This siren will go activate for a test every friday at 11 am ( provided no bad weather at the time)

The tornado sirens located throughout the county are designed to be heard by anyone outside and are not designed to be heard inside your residence. We suggest that you purchase a weather radio for inside your home.

Well, another slider drive thru has come and gone. The Stilesville Vol Fire Dept. would like to thank everyone that came through and purchased sliders to help support the fire department.
We would like to give a HUGE thanks to all of our sponsors: Hendricks County Farm Bureau and their agent who helped with prep work and serving, Indiana Farm Bureau Hendricks-Morgan-Owen-Putnam Agency and their 2 agents who helped out, Brock Farms Meat,
Costco of Avon, Meijer of Plainfield, Keystone Cooperative and Double A Distribution.
Also a huge thanks to the families of the firefighter s who spent the day helping out and to the firefighters themselves for all their hard work to make the 4th annual Slider drive thru a great success!
