Due to the Labor Day Holiday, all regular Penn Waste trash, recycling and yard waste collections will be delayed (1) day.

Monday customers will be collected Tuesday, Tuesday customers will be collected Wednesday, Wednesday customers will be collected Thursday, Thursday customers will be collected Friday and Friday customers will be collected Saturday.

Are you a newly enrolled South Eastern School District family? Join us for New Family Night on Thursday, September 17, from 5:00–6:30 PM at the Kennard-Dale High School Cafeteria! This evening is designed specifically for families who are new to SESD and is a great opportunity to learn more about our schools, programs, and student supports. Families will have the chance to learn about Sapphire, attendance, athletics, music and fine arts, PTA involvement, student support services, and more! Dinner, prizes, and helpful information will be provided. We look forward to welcoming you to the SESD family!

Holiday Closure Update 🚨

All PennDOT driver’s license and photo centers will be closed Saturday, September 5, 2026, through Monday, September 7, 2026, for the Labor Day holiday.

Online services will still be available at pa.gov/dmv.

HARP is exciting to offer a new Co-ed Youth Open Volleyball Program coming up for the Fall of 2026. These sessions are designed to introduce and develop the skills essential to the game of volleyball. Athletes can expect instruction along with lots of repetition and feedback in a positive uplifting learning environment. Designed for players of all skill levels, these session blend skill-building drills with friendly competition to foster teamwork, fitness, and a love for the game. It is for athletes entering 5th through 8th grade for the current school year(26-2027) and will be held indoors at the HARP Gym located at 16 College Avenue Stewartstown, PA 17363. The camp will take place on Saturday mornings from 10am-11:30am and will start on October 24th. The program session will be on the following Saturdays (weather permitting) 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, & 11/14.

The registration fee is $55 for all four sessions and includes a youth volleyball that each player will be able to keep to continue to practice the skills learned at home.
