Did you know your library card can check out more than just books? Each week, we’ll be featuring a different item from our Library of Things collection.

First up: our telescope 🔭🌙 That’s right. You can borrow a telescope from the library and explore the night sky from your own backyard.

Perfect for:
✨ spotting constellations
✨ family stargazing nights
✨ pretending you totally know which planet you’re looking at

From June 1 through August 14, kids and teens can log their reading, complete fun challenges, and earn the chance to win prizes all summer long. ✨

This year’s challenges include:
🦆 Rubber Duck Reading Challenge for ages 0–4
📖 Kid Bingo Card for ages 5–11
🎉 Teen Bingo Card for ages 12–18

Please note: only North Valley Public Library cardholders will be eligible for the grand prize drawing. All participants are eligible for smaller prizes.
