First Responders in Stevensville will carry on the annual tradition of honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001. The Stevensville Fire Department will partner with the Stevensville Police Department and other first responder agencies in the area to recognize the 20th anniversary the tragedy.

The free swim initiative was proposed by the administration to the Town Council, who enthusiastically approved the concept as a way for the Town to integrate its programs into the signature Creamery Picnic.

STEVENSVILLE– Stevensville’s Mayor Brandon Dewey announced an initiative last week with the Town Council aimed at integrating the City Pool into the annual Creamery Picnic community celebration.

City Pool will be closed the rest of the week to give our staff a break from the poor air quality and so that we can complete some necessary maintenance on our pump and filtration system. We'll be back to normal programming, weather permitting, on Monday August 2nd.

Air quality has been consistently too poor to facilitate evening open swim. While we hate to cancel programming, we are also keeping the health of our lifeguards and staff in mind. We appreciate everyone's understanding!
