We had a wonderful time camping out on Big C**n and then at our first Stevenson Depot Days today!!! In the Depot museum I got to see the yearbooks of my parents senior years at Stevenson High; 1951 & 1952. Randomly met several Allisons who are kin somehow I'm sure. We would love to pack up and move to the area tommorrow!!!

Picture taken in 1908 of John Franklin Bell and Sally Allison Bell. They raised their 7 kids on Big C**n. This picture was taken in front of their home which used to stand on the spot that has recently been cleared. They owned 550 acres on Big C**n. Their youngest, Brooks Lawrence Bell Sr. stands between them. He and Maybelle Austin Bell built their home on Big C**n (currently Harold McAllister's home) in 1934. They raised 3 kids, Jeanine, Jim, and Brooks Jr. on Big C**n.

Talked to Harold tonight. He is going to clear the tree line along the road to the right of the driveway down to our property line. The walnut tree that Grandaddy Bell planted in 1900 will really stick out then.
