Welcome to our amazing summer staff! These are the dedicated individuals who work behind the scenes every day to keep Schmeeckle running smoothly. They are answering questions at the information desk, restocking item in the gift shop, fixing trails and boardwalks, building signs and benches, removing hazardous trees, controlling invasive species, managing facility and outdoor gear rentals, and leading educational programs.

Need firewood? We have a big pile of firewood! Our amazing Tuesday volunteer crew has been diligently cleaning up hazard trees along the trails of Schmeeckle after a spring trifecta of ice storms, wind storms, and flooding.

Firewood is available for pickup in the gravel overflow lot near the visitor center. Please donate what you feel the wood is worth. A donation post is located near the restroom building.
