We are excited to announce the Arbor Day 2026 Tree planting will take place tomorrow at 11:00am with members of the Stevens Point Forestry Department team, Mayor Mike Wiza, and employees of Golden Sands Resource, Conservation and Development. Wisconsin Public Service donated the funds for the planting.

The City of Stevens Point has been designated as a Tree City USA for the 45th time and received the National Abor Day’s Growth Award for the 21st time. The Growth Award is for communities that go above and beyond the Tree City USA standards.
