A significant construction project is currently underway at Sterling’s Wastewater Treatment Facility located outside city limits.
This project focuses on upgrading critical infrastructure that treats all of the community’s wastewater. These improvements help us meet state and federal regulations, increase reliability, and position the system to serve Sterling well into the future.
The project is being financed in part through Colorado’s State Revolving Fund program. SRF funding provides low interest loans for essential water and wastewater infrastructure, allowing communities like ours to complete large scale projects in a financially responsible way while minimizing impacts to local ratepayers.
Projects like this are not always visible, but they are some of the most important investments we make. We appreciate your support as we continue strengthening the systems that keep our community running every day.
