Whiteside County Senior Center became Dementia Friendly to help raise awareness and compassion for those with dementia and memory loss, and to help build a more supportive community. Our team recently completed training to better support people living with dementia and their care partners. We learned how to understand dementia from the eyes of the person living with it, so we can care for those who may be on this difficult journey. Whiteside County Senior Center is proud to be a part of this important community initiative.

Today is our Food Pantry!!
Please note the following and please share this post……

Food Pantry is every Thursday!!!!!
Sign ups begin at 12:00.
The Pantry runs from 1:00-3:00, so you do not have to be there right at 12:00.
Everyone gets a chance to get food.
The waiting process is quick.
All ages are welcome.
Being kind is free!! ☺️

Last week we served 150 families in 2 hours! Our volunteers and staff rocked it!
Making a huge difference in the lives of so many in such a short time!! 🩵
