The depot will be open at 1:00pm today with premade boxes of food for those that are in need. It will be by the box and you cannot takeout of the boxes; you must take the whole box. We have about 20 boxes.

The Sterling County Sr Citizens Center would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Sterling County, Mike Knittel Robbie Foster Knittel( for getting the ball rolling and making this happen) and all our commissioners for helping us with the purchase of a new freezer. Also a very special Thanks to Rob Terrye Abbott Ferguson, my amazing brother John Williams and Brayden; Cheryl Hasty handsome grandson. They all came and took their time to unload and set it up in the depot. We have been truly blessed with team work and a great community. Thank you all so much!

The Sr Center is looking for a part time person to cook, clean and deliver meals. Must have reliable transportation and able to work independently. This will be 3 days a week; for more information call Margaret 32-52-42-62-35

The Sr Center will continue to be closed for tomorrow Thurs February 2, 2023 due to the ice. Remember just because it may start to warm up tomorrow a little doesn’t mean the ice at the building will be cleared up. WE have cobblestone( brick) on the walkway and it gets VERY slick. We have delivered meals and a supplemental meal for tomorrow.
