Happy Elementary Band Recruitment Week!

This week, our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students had the opportunity to learn more about joining the Steelton-Highspire School District Band Program!

Students learned about the different instruments they can choose from, what to expect as a beginning musician, and the many opportunities that come with being part of our band program.

We are excited to welcome a new group of young musicians and look forward to watching them learn, grow, and make music together!

Important Reminder for Families:
Students took home a Band Eligibility and Information Packet following their recruitment meeting. Please take time to read through the packet, complete all required information, and return it to school by Friday, September 25th.

We are looking forward to welcoming our newest musicians to the SHSD Band Family!

The Rollers are back in action Thursday night! And while we may be on the road, this one is a HOME GAME for US, being played at Susquehanna Township High School football stadium!

🎟️ ADMISSION
• Students: $3
• Adults: $5
• Steel-High and Halifax high school students grades 9 through 12 may attend with proper school identification.
• No bills larger than $20 will be accepted at the ticket booth — please plan accordingly!

📢 IMPORTANT FAN INFORMATION
• The stadium is located on the Susquehanna Township High School campus.
• No re-entry. Gates will close at halftime.
• Children and students in 8th grade and below MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Students in this age group arriving without an adult will not be permitted entry.
• Students from other schools must be accompanied by an adult.
• Inter-League and District III passes will be accepted.
