*Project Update: Stop Work Order Lifted on Steelton Terminal*

This is a notification that Core 5, LLC of Steelton has submitted the appropriate revisions and has been approved by our legal council, Steelton’s resident engineer and the Codes Director who accepted the revised plan that includes the vegetative buffer and required sound wall.

This allows them to resume work in Steelton Borough and a formal action is on the June 15th Borough Council Meeting agenda, but not necessarily needed.

🌼The work is never done for Community Relations Coordinator, Renee Bowers as she communicates with displaced citizens after a fire in the 500 block of North 2nd Street, to connect them with essential resources. Pictured here, Renee is getting clothing and shoe sizes for one family displaced.

🌼Later, she would connect them with food and other resources donated by organizations and the generous Steelton Community. 🏘️

🌼When she is not responding to emergency calls in the borough, Renee routinely works to address the needs of seniors and bridges Steelton citizens with organizations to mitigate homelessness and food insecurity. Thanks for all you do for Steelton Borough 💛💙♥️
