Asphalt Pavement Repairs:
β’ Date: Friday, September 11, 2026
β’ Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The City of Stayton has contracted with RiverBend/Siegmund Excavation to complete asphalt pavement repairs at several locations along N. 2nd Ave and N. 3rd Ave on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During this time, streets are expected to remain open to traffic. Motorists may experience temporary delays or short-term restrictions while crews are actively working. Please use caution around construction equipment and workers and follow all posted signs, cones, and traffic-control directions.
NO PARKING IN POSTED WORK AREAS
Traffic cones and No Parking/Construction signs have been placed along streets where asphalt repairs are scheduled. These cones and signs are being placed in advance to identify the work areas and provide contractors with enough room to safely and efficiently complete the repairs.
Please do not park on the asphalt-paved portion of the street within the posted or coned work areas during the scheduled work hours. As work is completed, the traffic cones and No Parking/Construction signs will be removed, allowing parking to resume.
Avoid parking in posted work areas to:
β’ Allow construction crews and equipment to safely access each repair location.
β’ Reduce construction delays and help complete the work as quickly as possible.
β’ Allow traffic to continue moving around the construction areas where conditions permit.
β’ Help protect parked vehicles from construction equipment, debris, and paving operations.
The City appreciates your patience and cooperation while this work is completed. These pavement repairs will address deteriorated areas that have required repeated pothole maintenance and will help improve roadway conditions and reduce the need for recurring repairs.
If you have any questions regarding this work, please contact the City of Stayton Public Works Department at (503) 769-2919.
Thank you for helping us complete this work safely and efficiently.
