We had a great time at the Oregon Fire Chief’s Conference this week. It was an honor to attend and great getting to connect with everyone again!

Paisley also loved all the attention she received. She is lucky to get to grow up in this community surrounded by such amazing individuals. Thank you Chiefs for all you do!

Another great day in the books.

Proud to be a true one-stop shop with multiple crews working together to ensure fire department equipment is meeting NFPA standards. From hose and ladders to pumps and aerials, it’s all about keeping departments dialed in and ready.

This annual testing plays a key role in supporting ISO ratings helping departments maintain better classifications, which can lead to lower insurance costs for the communities they serve.

But at the end of the day, it’s about something even more important…
making sure every piece of equipment is safe and reliable for the firefighters who depend on it.

🚒 NOW HIRING: FIRE HOSE TECHNICIANS 🚒

Pacific Northwest Hydro is looking to hire Fire Hose Technicians to support fire departments throughout Oregon & Washington.

This is hands-on, meaningful work ensuring firefighters have properly tested, reliable equipment when it matters most.

What you’ll do:
• Test and reload fire hose
• Test ground ladders
• Travel throughout the PNW
• Work alongside a great crew and local firefighters

What we offer:
• Starting pay $19/hr+ (DOE)
• Per diem for out-of-town jobs
• Health & dental insurance available
• Retirement options
• All travel expenses & training provided
• Supportive, team-focused work environment

What we’re looking for:
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Team player with strong work ethic

This season, our crews delivered:

🚒 1.6 MILLION FEET of fire hose tested
🪜 40,000 FEET of ground ladders inspected & certified
🚿 200 MOBILE PUMP TESTS completed
🚁 60 AERIAL INSPECTIONS & NDT TESTS performed
