The Iredell County Register of Deeds office serves as the legal custodian for all vital records and real estate-related documents in the county. We strive to provide an exceptional level of service to our citizens and legal professionals who use our office on a daily basis. We file and record

deeds, deeds of trust, powers of attorney, uniform commercial codes, assumed names, military records, plats, easements, and much more. We also record births, deaths, and marriage licenses; as well as issue the oath of office for notaries public. Certified copies of documents are available upon request. Statesville Office

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a field trip at the Register of Deeds office for homeschooled students. Register Purcell demonstrated the importance of record keeping for the citizens of Iredell County. Some of the students that were born in Iredell County were able to see their birth records, parent’s marriage license, and deeds to the property where they live.
