Bulloch County Alcohol & Drug Council The Bulloch County Alcohol and Drug Council is a non-profit organization, mandated by the Bulloch County Grand Jury and chartered by the Secretary of State.

The Bulloch Alcohol and Drug Council was organized in 1974 under the direction of the Bulloch County Grand Jury. The Council is composed of twelve volunteers appointed by the City and County governments. Current members are:Phillip Tremble, Chairman; HR Director, Bulloch Board of Education; Nancy Waters, Vice-Chair, Retired Health Administrator Raymond Scott, Addictions Counselor, Transformations

"A new Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)-led systematic review published in the journal Addiction confirms that alcohol consumption causes substantial harm to health, with some harms potentially reversible if a person reduces or stops drinking.

The review finds that more than 60 diseases and injuries are fully attributable to alcohol use, according to the World Health Organization’s International Classification of Diseases (11th edition)."
