Crankshaft and governor end of the Atlas Steam Engine.

This Altas steam engine is a 12 x 18 engine that I have owned for about 25 years. The engine powered the planer mill at one of Bulloch County’s saw mills that does not exist anymore. This is the first time the engine has been under steam in the last 70-80 years. I have it plumbed to my Kewanee return flue boiler.
