It’s so incredibly important that people with disabilities have access to the same resources as their non-disabled counterparts, and having a program that provides those resources while not adding extra financial or transportation burden is big!
Would love to see more county libraries implement programs like this!

Cobb libraries have a new way to serve home-bound residents — by delivering books in the mail. The new free service is for residents who experience physical disabilities, have a long-term illness, or lack transportation. The library will send up to four items for a 9-week checkout period. Items can be books, CDs, and DVDs. The library provides a pre-paid return so there is no cost to the recipient.
