FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Teal House Names Ashley Lindsay Interim Executive Director
Good Day Consultants engaged to provide interim leadership and consulting support during transition
STATESBORO, Ga. — The Teal House, the Statesboro Regional Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center, announces the appointment of Ashley Lindsay as Interim
Executive Director, effective September 4, 2026. Lindsay's appointment is supported through an engagement with Good Day Consultants, which is providing interim leadership and organizational consulting support to The Teal House during this period.
Lindsay brings more than 10 years of experience in grants management and nonprofit executive leadership. She most recently served as Executive Director/CEO of the
Children's Advocacy Center of Lowndes County for nine years, where she led multi-county operations, expanded services from six to eight counties served, and strengthened multidisciplinary collaboration among law enforcement, the Division of
Family and Children Services (DFCS), prosecution, medical providers, and schools. She has served on the Children's Advocacy Centers of Georgia (CACGA) Statewide Site Review Committee, and she is a graduate of the University of Georgia's Executive
Leadership Program for Nonprofit Organizations (ELPNO), class of 2024. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Valdosta State University.
As Interim Executive Director, Lindsay will provide organizational leadership for The Teal House, including budget development, grant oversight and compliance, and continued coordination with the center's multidisciplinary partners across law
enforcement, medical, legal, and social services systems serving Bulloch, Jenkins, Screven, and Effingham Counties. Good Day Consultants will support the Board of Directors in their search of a permanent executive director.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are ecstatic to be partnering with Good Day Consultants, and were lucky to have the wealth of experience Ashley brings during this transition time. Anytime there is a Board-directed leadership transition initiated, such as this, I understand it can be a frightening time for our community and partners. However, I can assure our community that throughout this transition, our central commitment
remains unchanged: supporting children, survivors of sexual assault, and their families.
"We are excited to build the Teal House, Statesboro Regional Sexual Assault Center, into the premier site in the state.” said Adam Dean, Board Chair of The Teal House.
"I am honored to step into this role and to work alongside our multidisciplinary partners in this critical work" said Lindsay. "Our commitment remains, first and foremost, to the
children, families, and survivors we are honored to serve, and to ensuring they continue to receive the advocacy and support they deserve without interruption.
