🚗🛡️ Thank you to all Staten Islanders who joined the 122nd Precinct and the Staten Island District Attorney’s Office on Saturday for our free catalytic converter etching event!

Special thanks to the Crime Prevention Section, Auto Larceny Unit, 122nd Precinct Community Council, 122nd Precinct Auxiliary, and PBSI Community Affairs for their support. We also thank NYC Parks for allowing us to host the event at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Together, we are helping prevent theft and protect our neighbors’ property.

Working together for safer streets! 🚦🚶

On October 13 and 14, the 122 Precinct Q-Teams and Community Affairs partnered with the NYC Department of Transportation for a vehicle and pedestrian satety operation, sharing Vision Zero safety information with our community.

đźš—Drivers: Slow down, look before turning, and yield to pedestrians.
đźšµCyclists: Give pedestrians priority and avoid passing turning vehicles.
🚶Pedestrians: Watch for turning vehicles and never assume a driver sees you.

You can't rewind a crash. Let's all do our part to keep Staten Island safe!

Victims are usually left with fake jewelry after the thief has done a swap of the real jewelry.

Call 911 immediately if you are the victim of this crime.
