Today, our second graders celebrated International Dot Day, inspired by the beloved children’s book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. Dot Day celebrates creativity, courage, and collaboration while encouraging everyone to “make their mark” on the world!
Students rotated through three fun activities:
Mrs. Grove’s Room: Painted colorful dots
Ms. Gabriel’s Room: Created and framed self-portraits
Ms. Englert’s Room: Read a book, created clouds, and shared what kind of dreamer they are
Thank you to Ms. Gabriel, Ms. Englert, and Mrs. Grove for making Dot Day so creative and meaningful!
Keep making your mark, second grade!
