Week 4: I’ve made it to Lovisa’s house, where both her parents and mine were waiting. It’s a lovely time to be here. The sun is shining, the food is delicious, and the warmth from everyone is just delightful. If only I didn’t have to run a marathon tomorrow. Or 13 more… and then cycle to North Africa.

Our active Monday youth have really taken to playing Pickleball. We have a shortage of pickleball paddles, and are looking for pickleball paddles in good condition.

If you have gently used pickleball paddles collecting dust, you are welcome to drop them off at our main office.

We are located at 325 W. Aaron Dr. You can drop them off between 8:30 and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday!

2.5 weeks: So far I’ve swam across the Arctic Circle, run 15 back-to-back daily marathons, walked/hobbled 1 marathon, inflamed my IT band, strained my quad, and in a month and a half, I’m still going to make it to Africa. While I fight this injury by walking marathons (not idea rest I grant you), I’ll be back to running on Thursday.

So far we have raised over $19,200. Amazing stuff, truly amazing. I am so grateful for everyone who has donated, and please share this as much as you can to help reach the $250,000 total. It may seem small, but pressing follow, share, like, repost, (repost in particular), they all contribute to real donations - which in turn means real support for children over the world.
