The Centre Region Planning Agency (CRPA) has scheduled a series of Joint Elected Officials and Planning Commission meetings to review and discuss the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) for each municipality as part of the ongoing Comprehensive Plan update. We encourage your participation in this process, as these discussions will help shape future land use policy, development patterns, and growth decisions across the Centre Region.

Each municipal meeting from April through June focused on the host municipality’s Future Land Use Map. A final Open House will be held at the Centre Region Council of Governments to provide an opportunity for feedback on all municipalities.

If you were unable to attend your municipal meeting, or if you would like to provide additional input, CRPA will also host an Open House on Monday, June 22 at 5:00 PM in the General Forum Room of the Centre Region Council of Governments.

We encourage you to attend and share your perspective as members of the community.

The Centre County Metropolitan Planning Organization has received a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Grant from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA to complete a comprehensive sidewalk inventory within Borough and Borough-like areas in Centre County. Members of MPO staff and the consultant team will be in your community conducting field observations at each location to document existing conditions and observe motorist behavior, in addition to collecting data.
