Boil water advisory for Rock Springs/ American Water customers until further notice.

To ease inconvenience, Pennsylvania American Water will be supplying a non-potable water
tanker and bottled drinking water at Penn State Ag Days (2710 West Pine Grove Road,
Pennsylvania Furnace). These resources should be on-site by 6 p.m. Customers should bring
their own containers when visiting the tanker for water.

Pennsylvania DEP has declared a statewide Code PURPLE 🟣 Air Quality Alert for particulate matter for Friday, July 17, 2026.

Wildfire smoke from Canada and Minnesota will impact Pennsylvania creating code purple concentrations of PM2.5.

Young children, elderly, and those with respiratory problems should avoid all outdoor physical activity.
