New fire rating
Just wanted to let everyone know that Start Fire Dept has maintained its class 4 fire rating. So your insurance will be based on that for the next 5 years. Ratings go from 10 to 1 with 1 being the highest possible. It takes a lot of work to prepare for the rating and we would like to especially thank all of the younger firefighters for stepping up submitting the application to the rating commission

Important -make sure that your insurance company knows that you live within the fire district boundaries

Important-only people that live within the boundaries of the district are eligible for the reduced rates. You must present them with a paid receipt of your payment.
