๐Ÿ’™ Happy Father's Day! ๐Ÿ’™
Today we celebrate all the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who have made a difference in our lives. Thank you for showing up, offering guidance, providing support, and being there when you were needed most.
Father's Day is a time to honor the memories, lessons, and love that have shaped us. For those whose fathers are no longer with us, may today bring comfort as you reflect on the special moments you shared and the values they instilled.
I was blessed to have the best dad in the world. While he is no longer here, I thank God every day for the way he raised me, the example he set, and the values he taught me. Those lessons continue to guide me through life.
To everyone celebrating today, whether with family, memories, or gratitude for someone who stepped into a fatherly role, I wish you a day filled with love, reflection, and appreciation.
Happy Father's Day, and may God bless all the fathers and father figures who make our communities and families stronger every day. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

๐Ÿˆโšฝ๐ŸฅŽ๐Ÿ Another great day at the Edward's Road Ball Complex!
I am so proud of the accomplishments that Bradford Sports United has made in such a short time. From flag football, soccer, volleyball, softball, and baseball, our community continues to provide opportunities for our youth to learn, grow, compete, and build lifelong friendships.
Today is another important day as Fall Ball registration is underway for softball and baseball! If you haven't signed up yet, come out and get registered. There is something for every child, and we encourage families to get involved.
While you're here, be sure to support our concession stand and grab a refreshing treat from Kona Ice. Every purchase helps support our programs and the young athletes who participate.
A huge thank you to all of our sponsors who support multiple sports throughout the year. Your investment in our youth makes these programs possible and helps provide positive opportunities for children across our community.
And a special shout-out to Deanna Desina , who continues to do an outstanding job as our Recreation Director. Your dedication, hard work, and passion for our kids do not go unnoticed. Thank you for all you do to keep these programs growing and thriving.
Together, we're building something special for the youth of Bradford County! Very Proud to be part of such an active involved board.. Bradford Sports United โค๏ธ๐Ÿฉถโค๏ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ City of Starke Juneteenth ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
Honoring Freedom. Celebrating Unity. Building Community.
Today, the City of Starke joins communities across our nation in recognizing Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, hope, resilience, and progress.
On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas, finally learned they were free. This historic day became known as Juneteenth and serves as a reminder that freedom is one of our nation's most cherished values.
As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, Juneteenth reminds us that our nation's story is one of growth, perseverance, and an ongoing commitment to liberty and justice for all.
Here in Starke, we are proud of our diverse community and the people who make it strong. Today is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, appreciate how far we have come, and continue working together to create a future filled with opportunity, respect, and understanding for everyone.
No matter our backgrounds, we are united by our love for our community and our commitment to making Starke a welcoming place for all who live, work, and visit here.
Let us celebrate freedom, honor the sacrifices of those who came before us, and continue building a stronger community together.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Happy Juneteenth from the Mayor, City Commissioners, City Clerk and Staff of the City of Starke. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
"Our strength as a community comes from standing together, learning from our history, and moving forward with respect, hope, and unity." โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค

Today was a bittersweet day for the Tourism Development Council (TDC).
After many years of dedicated service, Chairman John Miller has announced his retirement. We also say farewell to Chuck Kramer, whose leadership, commitment, and passion for our community will certainly be missed. Both gentlemen have played an important role in helping guide tourism and economic opportunities in Bradford County, and we are grateful for their years of service.
At the same time, we are excited to welcome two new members to the TDC Board: Tia Jackson of Holiday Inn Express and Danny Stefanelli of Bradford Sports Club. We look forward to the fresh perspectives, ideas, and energy they will bring to the table.
We are also pleased to announce our new leadership team. Steve Futch, a longtime board member and respected community leader, has been elected Chairman of the Board, with Dale Woodruff serving as Vice Chairman. Thankful for all current board members as well.
While change can be bittersweet, it is also a sign of growth and progress. We honor and appreciate those who have served so faithfully, while embracing the future with confidence in the new leaders who have stepped forward. Thank you to all who continue to invest their time, talents, and vision into making Bradford County a destination we can all be proud of.
Here's to those who built the foundation and to those who will help lead us into the next chapter.

Some days I feel like I have a revolving door on my office. Meeting after meeting, project after project, and community event after community event. But honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
I love the community involvement. I love being able to lend a hand, listen when needed, and help bring organizations together to work toward a common goal. That's what makes our community so special โ€” people coming together to make a difference.
Today was no different, except for one very sweet surprise! I had the opportunity to enjoy a world-renowned, scratch-made cinnamon roll from bank president Patricia Evans. It was definitely the highlight of my day!
When someone says, "Don't leave, I have something for you," it can sometimes make you a little nervous. Today, however, it was a moment of pure excitement and appreciation.
Thank you, Patricia, for the delicious treat, and thank you to everyone involved with economic development efforts in our community. Your dedication to creating opportunities, supporting local businesses, and planning for the future does not go unnoticed. We are blessed to have so many people working together to make the most of what we have today while building an even brighter tomorrow.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Happy Flag Day! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
Today, we proudly celebrate the American flag โ€” a symbol of freedom, unity, sacrifice, and hope. Since June 14, 1777, our flag has represented the ideals upon which this nation was built and the countless men and women who have defended those ideals throughout our history.
The stars remind us of our states united as one nation, while the stripes honor the original colonies that fought for independence and laid the foundation for the United States of America. For nearly 250 years, Old Glory has flown through times of triumph and challenge, serving as a beacon of courage, resilience, and opportunity.
The American flag is more than fabric and thread. It represents the freedoms we enjoy, the sacrifices of our veterans and military families, and the promise that each generation has the opportunity to leave our nation stronger than they found it.
As we celebrate Flag Day and prepare to commemorate America's 250th anniversary, let us take a moment to reflect on the blessings of liberty, honor those who have served, and remember that despite our differences, we are all united under one flag.
May God continue to bless the United States of America and all those who proudly call it home.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Happy Flag Day! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
