Camp Blanding Joint Training Center is located near Starke, Fla. The 72,000-acre training site is home to both Florida Army and Air National Guard units. Quality customer service is provided to a wide range of customers including - but not limited to - all components of the U.S. military, international forces, federal and state law enforcement agencies, and numerous other agencies.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – CAMP BLANDING MAIN BOAT RAMP CLOSED

Effective immediately, the Main Boat Ramp at Camp Blanding is CLOSED due to low water levels and damage to the ramp.
The small ramp remains OPEN for launching:
• Jet skis
• Kayaks
• Small jon boats

Yesterday the Clay County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2026, got a look inside Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. They visited the Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) where they shot automatic weapons at the state-of-the-art simulation center and rappelled from the 60 foot rappell tower.

Soldiers with Bravo Co., 2nd Battalion, 124th Infantry Regiment, conduct squad tactics training at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center, Jan. 9, 2026. Florida Army National Guard Soldiers honed their skills as they navigated through terrain as a team and secured their objective. Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Cadets are training this week at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center. Today they trained on the rappel tower and confidence course. The Civil Air Patrol’s cadet program transforms youth into dynamic Americans and aerospace leaders through a curriculum focusing on leadership, aerospace, fitness, and character. As cadets participate in these four elements, they advance through a series of achievements, earning honors and increased responsibilities. Many of the nation’s astronauts, pilots, engineers, and scientists first explored their careers through CAP.

Buchholz High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) conducted training today at the Camp Blanding Obstacle Course and Rappel Tower. The mission of the AFJROTC is to develop citizens of character. The training program is designed to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill personal responsibility, character, and self discipline.

Across from the Federal Parade Field (Now Camp Blanding Airfield) on what is now Avenue C, the main American Red Cross Building was originally next to the Division Head Quarters and later the Infantry Replacement Training Center Headquarters. This center serviced the entirety of Camp Blanding with the exception of the Station Hospital, which had it’s own Red Cross center.
