Fiscal Incompetence: WA is forecasted to have a significant budget shortfall in the BILLIONS.

This comes after Gov. Bob Ferguson and the far left passed a budget with the largest tax increases in state history this year (SB 5998), another budget with the second largest tax ory last year (SB 5167), cut $782 MILLION out of Medicaid (SB 5167), went on a record spending spree (SB 5998 & SB 5167), and more. All of these actions greatly contributed to the affordability crisis in our state.

Enough is enough. Washington State has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

While far left WA State leaders passed record tax increases, they failed to investigate daycares with no children receiving taxpayer funds according to The Center Square. This is despite the issue being covered heavily in media.

It was reported earlier this year that Governor Ferguson's Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) had an un-auditable $416 MILLION of taxpayer funds, according to State Auditor Pat McCarthy (D). Taxpayer funded daycare fraud is being exposed nationwide.

And don't forget about the known fraud, waste, and abuse:

A squandered $15 BILLION surplus, the largest tax increases and spending spree in state history in back-to-back years (SB 5167 in 2025 & SB 5998 in 2026), $1.17 BILLION in missing COVID money, $646 MILLION of unemployment money being stolen by Nigerian scammers, $340 MILLION going to non-citizens, and so much more.

Imagine what these BILLIONS alone could have paid for.

It's well past time for state government to be responsible and accountable with your money.
