Great Job Megan!!

We're doing a happy dance! We just received notification that our Accreditation has been accepted and we have once again been renewed with a Tier 3 status!

Accreditation for public libraries in Iowa is a voluntary program administered by the State Library to encourage high-quality services, valid for three years and required to receive Direct State Aid funding. Libraries must meet specific standards within a tiered system (Tier 1-3) based on governance, staffing, and services. It is a lot of extra work and a lot of extra reporting, but it is totally worth it to be the best we can be!

We know you love our library as much as we do! Stop in and see us soon!
