🚨🔥 Outdoor Burning Update | Snohomish County 🔥🚨

Effective September 4, 2026, the Snohomish County Burn Ban has been downgraded to Stage 1.

✅ Recreational and cooking fires are now allowed under Stage 1 restrictions.

Allowed recreational fires must: 🔥 Be less than 3 feet in diameter and 2 feet high 🔥 Be used for cooking or pleasure in an approved fire pit 🔥 Keep burning material below the top of the fire pit enclosure 🔥 Be at least 25 feet from structures and combustible materials 🔥 Have combustibles cleared within 25 feet before ignition 🔥 Be constantly attended with a water source readily available (a charged garden hose or 5-gallon bucket of water at minimum)

🚫 Residential open burning remains prohibited.

As Smokey Bear reminds us, "Only YOU can prevent wildfires." 🐻🌲 Even as restrictions ease, conditions remain dry. Please enjoy your campfires responsibly, fully extinguish them when finished, and never leave a fire unattended.

Coco and Phoenix stopped by with delicious homemade cookies for our firefighters, and they definitely earned the award for Most Enthusiastic Visitors of the Year 😂💛.

While we had to break the news that the fire pole is for decoration only (sorry, ladies! 😅), they were all smiles when they suited up with new firefighter helmets and badges. 👩‍🚒🚒
